Paranormal Ghost Tours at Poplar Grove Plantation in Wilmington, NC, features a chance to discover spirits and haunts from 1850 to 1950 as they continue to hover around the historic manor house. Attendees will learn some history, review a scroll of the dead, and focus on a particular room or rooms for paranormal activity. Cameras and other paranormal equipment are permitted.

Panic Attack Haunted Attraction in Nakina, NC, features Hollywood level sets, spine-tingling animatronics, and set builders from Universal Studios and Six Flags. Located in the swamps of North Carolina, beware the swamp monsters, military zones and popular icons like Pennywise from IT, and Jason from Friday the 13th. Recommended for adults and teens, but younger kids may come with parental guidance.

Go with the Southern belle dressed in widow black as she leads you on an interesting and ghostly tour of the picturesque town. Of particular interest on the tour are the old jail and the Southport graveyard. You’ll also hear about the old Southport Inn and why a musician is lost there forever.

Fort Johnston’s Garrison House turns into the ‘Scarrison House’ for Halloween 2018. Southport’s spirits will be gathering at the Fort Johnston-Southport Museum.
