Steve Register, owner and operator of Register’s of Hampstead, has worked in the auto collision business since high school. This was when his father, Leonard Register, opened Register’s Body and Paint Shop in Wilmington in 1975. Steve lost his father five years later.
Steve, along with his brother Shane, took over the business. They ran it successfully for 18 years, earning a reputation for high quality, precision workmanship. In 1996, Steve opened Register’s of Hampstead, building on the family name. His brother later sold the Wilmington shop.
