The annual Cape Fear Kite Festival features two days of kite fans and novices displaying their colorful kite creations on the beach at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. There will be two food trucks on site: Poor Piggy’s for wonderful slow cooked BBQ and Trolly Stop for hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese steaks and sliders.
