Ida Thai Cuisine

Rachanee Wechamongkolgorn, and her husband Jackie Bongkotmanee multi task in the kitchen and behind the bar at Ida Thai. Jackie earned his chops in West Coast Thai shops in Los Angeles and Portland, but learned Thai cooking in Thailand. Rachanee is also often cooking delicious Thai appetizers and entrees for her guests. You might expect the traditional Thai dishes, such as curries, noodle dishes and fried rice, but you should also discover some of the more exotic specialties, such as Panang Salmon, Som Tom (Papaya Salad), Roasted Duck, and Thai Three Flavor Fish featured in the Chef’s Recommendations Menu.

Jackie and “Rach” are very accommodating to their customers. We love our new space — we’ve become a very popular restaurant, so you may have to sometimes wait for a table, but the food makes it worthwhile. Many call in a To Go Order and pick up on the way home. Thai dishes travel easy and are excellent reheated, even the next day. Lunch at Ida Thai is a good bet too. Often less crowded, it’s an excellent way to sample the many delicious entrees and discover some new favorites for next time.
