Our Story

Access Wilmington was founded in August 2011 by Hap Willard as the premier “go-to” guide for live music, concerts, local theater, festivals, and community happenings across the Cape Fear Region.

Now, Hap and his partner, Jason Haker, are proud to unveil the all-new Access Wilmington—a fully upgraded, richer, and more comprehensive local resource. This launch marks the beginning of an exciting new era, with continuous updates, expanded directory listings, and innovative new features on the horizon.
