About This Event
Free three-day kite festival on the Cape Fear coast. Friday brings a kite preview at the Kure Beach Pier and the Carolina Beach Aglow evening on the beachfront. Saturday and Sunday more than 80 professional flyers fill the sky at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. Parking and the shuttle from the Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area are free.
